Well fans of oud wood can now rejoice because tom ford has just launched oud wood intense which promises oud wood but more. However after that this tom ford is more of a strong moderate. Although potent the fragrance feels of high quality elegant masculine and modern.

Tom ford oud wood intense is a significant misnomer as the fragrance does not correlate with the original oud wood all that much. It really is a beautiful dark deep woody forest without the greens smell. Tom ford s oud wood is a pleasant warm synthetic sandalwood and cardamom fragrance but i do not really consider it oud. However it is a great fragrance that merits smelling and enjoying wholly apart from the oud wood that preceded it by a decade.

I like it decently enough maybe even a lot. I recognise the same oud that tom brought over to the west with m7 by yves saint laurent but there is not much more oud in oud wood than there was in m7. I took to tom ford store in highland park texas they say it is not real. Sillage wise it is fairly intense but it s not a crazy monster perfume.

It s kind of awesome but too bitter and lackluster for me to want to own it. I m a huge fan of tom ford oud wood and i absolutely love the way this oud fragrance smells. I m very curious if this is bonafide product. 23 people found this helpful.
